Welcome to my piano studio! This site is for Janice Raspen's piano students and their families.
I was fortunate to study under two wonderful teachers, David Skopek (from ages 7-11) and Andrea Bogusko (from ages 11-20). While I was in college studying English and elementary education, Andrea asked me to teach piano at her store, where she had about fifteen studios for teachers of many different instruments.
I have taught piano almost continuously since 1987, and my solid musical foundation and my sound teaching skills have enabled many students to find joy in learning to play the piano. Currently, I have thirteen wonderful students who study with me regularly, and they range in age from five to seventeen. Seven of my students are boys, and most of my students have a sibling who also takes lessons with me. I love making music with these children!
